😱 LOCKDOWN 2.0 PLUNGES BRITAIN INTO DOUBLE DIP RECESSION 📉 CONTROL VS. ELIMINATION
Hi Basheer,
They are calling it a "Nightmare Without End" and forecasting an 8% drop in GDP in the 4th
quarter.
With inaccurate models and statistics being used to justify government actions, it is little wonder that the citizens of London and the wider world do not trust the current crop of politicians with their vested interests.
The major political parties in this country seem hellbent on destroying our economy, our livelihoods and ultimately our health.
Between accusations of cronyism being leveled, where a number of prestigious government contracts have been awarded to friends and family without any checks and balances to the total financial mismanagement of the city which has already led to one council going bankrupt, I see:
A total lack of leadership
A total lack of science-based decision-making
A completely disproportionate response to the virus
With a massive recession looming over the country, I believe that the current form of lockdown is not a solution to suppress the spread of the disease, with sectors such as hospitality, food & beverage and health & wellbeing all being unhelpfully targeted.
I promise to work tirelessly and take London in a new direction.
